Antique Bureau Bookcase in Wadhurst, Kent for sale
I am unsure of the age but believe it certainly to be Victorian at the very least. It has 4 drawers and internally in the desk section small drawers as well as 2 secret compartments. Mostly it is in good repair although there are a few small areas where the veneer has come away which could be easily repaired by someone who understands old furniture. One of the internal drawers has also a handle that has come away. It is a very heavy piece of furniture and would require careful removal and carriage. It has been in my family for some years so needs to go to a good home.
